Description:
Departing early morning from Heraklion, this day trip will take you deep into western Crete’s wilder side. After traversing the rugged beauty of the island’s interior, we make our way to Elafonisi, the iconic pink-sand beach, and the nearby hidden gem of Kedrodasos, a cedar-fringed coastal forest.
Our route includes scenic transitions through Crete’s mountain heartland, winding along gorges, olive groves, and sleepy villages where time has slowed. This isn’t just a beach day — it’s a full immersion into Crete’s natural identity.
